So I did it, I'm now a wedding photographer.
My first wedding was amazing, it was small, intimate and very moving.
There were only 4 people in attendance and 2 of them were the bride and groom.
Gail and Mike had been planning a larger wedding for August 2022 however they decided to bring it forward following some health issues.
So, they did it, they took the plunge with just their bridesmaid, best man (sporting a fabulous waistcoat) and me with my cameras in tow.
The ceremony was held at the registry office in Malvern, it was incredibly moving almost every one cried. I am not ashamed to say that I had a tear in my eye, but like the professional I am I engaged my stiff upper lip and got on with the job at hand.
Unfortunately the priory park grounds were a building site, the beautiful duck pond was dug up and the bridge was closed, which made my job a little challenging, but I think I did well in the face of adversity.
After the ceremony it was off to the Cotford Hotel, for a few glasses of champagne.
It really was the perfect first wedding full of love and gratitude.
